1st level awareness

Awareness of our being leads us to some basic understands. I’m more curious about what I can do with an awareness of that awareness. Or an awareness of being aware of being aware. oOo maybe getting into proactive decision making stuff now…

This graphic represents the journey of life or energy levels over time, illustrated through a bell curve, a common metaphor for growth, peak performance, and eventual decline or transition. The androgynous figure symbolizes a universal human experience, while the surrounding icons represent different emotions (such as happiness, anxiety, reflection) and speech acts (like assertives, directives, and expressives), which shape how we navigate through life.

The bell curve suggests that throughout life, energy and engagement rise, peak, and fall. Along the way, we experience a variety of moods and emotions, as well as engage in communication and commitments through speech acts. The absence of text allows the viewer to interpret these elements in relation to their own life and reflect on the phases of growth, interaction, and emotional response, emphasizing the interplay between time, energy, and self-awareness.

It’s a visual reminder that life is cyclical, and our energy and emotions fluctuate. By becoming aware of these fluctuations and the ways we communicate and process them, we can navigate life’s challenges with more wisdom and adaptability.
